Summer Jobs

WAIC camps are private, Western summer camps for children. There are a wide range of activities and programs offered at the over 40 camps represented. Most camps are looking for staff with experience working with children and the ability to lead a group or teach activities. Some camps require their staff to be at least 18 or 21 years old or to have certain qualifications such as First Aid, CPR, or Lifeguarding so check first before you apply.

International staff are usually required to use a placement agency such as Camp Counselors USA or Camp Leaders to provide the necessary work visas. There are a few different ways in which you can use this site to find a great summer job. You can browse the list of camps and apply directly with the camps that interest you.
